Day Nine - but Day one of road trip!
Up again early this morning to catch lift with Frank and Belinda to train station to pick up our car and head off to Vienna. Frank and Belinda were off to Santorini for a couple of days so we'll see them again when we return from our trip on the 19th August. Got our vehicle from Prague train station and headed off. Actually got out of the city with no problems and after dicusssions with Frank the night before, we decided to go the road to Cesky Krumlov- a great decision as it was a beautiful quaint little town. We unfortunately didn't get to do the Rapids trip like Pam and Vernon but saw plenty of people doing so. A definite must if you visit the Czech Republic! Arrived in Vienna about 645pm so now is the end of a pretty long day. Hotel is actually in a pretty good location but no air con and temp was sitting at 30 degrees when we arrived! It was raining and cold when we left Prague so to come back to these temps felt weird! Off to Salzburg tomorrow vis Hallstatt so very excited and looking forward to it.

Looks like a good steady start to the road trip, the photos are great and I know you have issues (with the photos of course) but it would be a real advantage to know what we are looking at. I suppose you'll just have to go through all the blog when you get home and take us through each day, one photo at a time. We are looking forward to that!!! Love Pam and Vernon
ReplyDeleteYou should recognise these photos as they are of Cesky Krumlov! My next lot are going to be even worse for photos as they are all mixed up! Look great but no one is going to know what's what! Xx
ReplyDeleteOMG ... you missed the Rapids! People travel from around the world to visit the Rapids ... no wonder I enjoyed Pam and Vernon's blog more! You spelling is improving btw. Hugs to you both.
