Day 6- Kinsale to Killarney

Another great day in Ireland. Stayed in this B&B in Kinsale, host was not what I would call the friendliest but Room was nice and close to city centre. Up early to head off to Cork but we thought breakfast wasn't until 0830am so couldn't get as early a start as we would have liked. Sign in room also said breakfast was at 0830am. So at 0831am, didn't want to be early off we go downstairs. Phil, the host, looks at me like I was a complete idiot and says there's no breakfast here, I politely said " but isn't this a bed and breakfast? (Emphasis on the and) he goes there is no breakfast included so I apologised and we left the Bed. Can't call it a bed and breakfast because it bloody well wasn't! So headed off but decided to go and see the Stone of Destiny, except it must have been moved or it had met its destiny because it just wasn't where it was supposed to be! Bad start to day but it got better! Arrived in Cork, wandered around, visited St Fin Barre Church, walked the Labryinth and contemplated life - took me 10 minutes at least, on to Cork gaol and then back to University of Cork. Headed off to the Blarney Stone, sad to say my gift of the gab has not gotten any better but what an amazing place. Now in Killarney, in a bed and breakfast- I can call this one that as there is breakfast included! Stopped in a pub called the Danny Mann for a drink. Two lovely young guys called Roger and Jean Paul started a conversation  with us and we chatted for about 45 minutes, both had lived in Australia before. Really enjoyed talking to them. Off to the Ring of Kerry tomorrow.
