Day Five - Old Town Prague

very hard to find words to describe how beautiful Prague is. Got up this morning, went to breakfast with Frank and Belinda, great cafe. The woman who runs it won a Masterchef over here and makes these amazing foods! From there caught the train to old town Prague, walked across the Charles Bridge, built in the 14th century, fantastic! Wandered around the old town, saw the astronomical clock which was also built around the 14th century. Went from there to Wenceslaus Square, which is really a rectangle! The most magnificent old buildings are here, almost take your breath away, they are so full of character! I haven't downloaded my photos tonight as we came home from sightseeing, had a drink or two with F and B , did the quiz Pam and Vernon, we got 5, then 7 then 6 out of 10! Not over yet will try again tomorrow night to get past 8! Have just got back from dinner at this great pub place, had a tradional Czech drink where you down it in one go, a great meal, great company and now am ready for bed! Will try and post photos in the morning.

  1. Good effort with the quiz, let us know when you manage to get 8/10 three times in a row..... Looking forward to the photos, don't let a little drink get in the way of our entertainment!! Hope the heat has settled down a bit and you are able to get around without getting cooked. When do you hit the road in the hire car? Love Pam and Vernon xxx

  2. We got 9 on our first attempt ..... great pics (although a bit boring after the first 150 building photographs). Sounds like you are having a fabulous time.
