Continuation of Day Two

Still trying to work out photos Vernon, where are you when I need you! Hit the town of Budapest this afternoon after arriving about 130pm. Taxi was there to pick us up and get us to the hotel trouble free. Took a bit to get through customs as they must have has about 1000 people arrive at the same time and Budapest Airport definitely couldn't handle it! Temperature was about 33 degrees today so very different to what we have been getting at home.
Walked for about four hours looking for the river - seasoned travellers that we are! Finally found it, gazed in awe at Parliement House and St Stephens Basillica! Whilst we were at Parliement House, they have these two soldiers who just walk around in a circle around the flag pole with their guns, weirdest thing I've ever seen! Had to have been easily 35 degrees and ther are in long sleeves, gloves etc! Very dedicated! Tomorrow  we are going to be pathetic tourists like Pam & Vernon and do the hop on/hop off bus and a boat trip on the Danube!

    Not so sure about the 'pathetic tourist' comment, I suppose if the cap fits you should wear it? Sounds stinking hot, but at least it's better than cold and wet. Makes for beautiful blue sky for the photos. The photos are great, no need for any further tuition!! Did you spend any time in the water sprays? It looks like it might cool everything down a bit.     My problem is that I can't remember how to edit so I rely on every ones ability to know which photo is what!
